Funeral Memorial Services

                     with Olivia Mulvany

As the Global Coronavirus, (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve, I am committed to taking steps to minimise the risk of exposure in my Celebrancy activities and local communities.

My main priority is to focus on the health and wellbeing of my clientele, associates and my communities, and to take an informed approach that is sensible and balanced.

I will continue to take guidance from respected health organisations and medical advisors and am following instructions on how to create a safe environment for you my VALUED CLIENT.

In these changing times, irrespective of restricted number of mourners as set out by the Victorian Gazette, I feel as do many families it is still important that family and friends have some opportunity to have a Memorial Service and pay their respects after the loss of their loved one.

A Memorial Service is a ceremony for the mourners without a burial or cremation involved in the Memorial Service. Memorial Services can be a time of deep sadness but more often, can also be viewed as a celebration of one’s life. There are no set rules to follow if you are planning a Memorial Service which can take place more than once and at any time after death, even years after the funeral.

When planning a Memorial Service, especially during these very trying times, you may want to include others so that it is inclusive and comfortable for everyone. Whilst traditionally most ceremonies take place at a Cemetery Chapel, Churchyard, Graveside, other places of Worship or Funeral Homes/Chapel; a Memorial Service can be conducted at almost any location or venue of your choosing such as in your private home, back garden, public space, park, beach or a club.

Choosing a venue for the Memorial Service can often determine the type of service you want, the numbers in attendance and the location.

Although the current COVID-19 crises currently restricts mourners in attendance and limits the ability to experience ‘Human Contact,’ as already mentioned; Memorial Services can still take place during and after these difficult times, thus enabling you as a family to still gather together to have a compassionate and memorable service.

Please Consider This…..

Whilst there are members of the family or friends that could have the ability to create and deliver a Memorial Service; grieving and emotions can often get in the way when structuring a Memorial Service. Therefore I am happy to offer my professional service to alleviate you of the burden and stress that coincides during these times of sorrow and sadness.

My aim is to ensure that the life of your loved one is not forgotten, and that all aspects of your Memorial Service is delivered in a dignified, loving and respectful way.

I am DEDICATED to helping YOU however I can, and remain committed to supporting you with the utmost empathy, compassion and support during this time of loss.
