Commitment Ceremony

A commitment ceremony is a couples affirmation of joining their lives together as opposed to being a legally binding ceremony. It’s usually non-religious and  informal.

Couples celebrate their commitment ceremony in whatever way truly reflects who they are. The ceremony can take place almost anywhere such as; a private garden, a winery or a favourite restaurant with close family and friends.

A commitment ceremony is a very special time in someone’s life regardless of gender, cultural background or age.

It’s an opportunity for the parties concerned to declare their dedication, devotion, loyalty, faithfulness and bond between each other.

I believe everyone has a right to be treated with equality and respect when it comes to matters of same sex couples. Just let people be happy.
