Funerals
Sad as funerals can be, it’s important to remember that they are a celebration of one’s life and a mark of respect to the departed and their loving families.
It is a privilege and an honour for me to help you close out the last chapter of your loved ones life.
Having lost a loved one is a very traumatic and more often a very stressful period for the families involved. It is important for you to have a very compassionate and caring person who understands your needs and to capture your loved one’s life story with great dignity and respect.
It is totally at your discretion as to how much of the ceremony you would like me to perform. In preparation of the Eulogy, I encourage you and your family members to contribute and participate to ensure we capture the essence of your loved one.
Your family experiences and memories of your loved one are an integral part of the Eulogy and further give strength and comfort to help you and your family move forward with your grief.
Funeral Procedure Guide:
- Usually your first point of contact is a Funeral Director
- Funeral Director appoints a celebrant; however if you have a preferred celebrant, you can advise the Funeral Director accordingly
- The celebrant will arrange with family member(s) to meet & prepare the ceremony
- The aim of the meeting is to collate information about what they would like e.g. music, photos ect… to ensure the ceremony reflects the deceased life
- It’s important to get facts right from family members e.g. phrases, quotes etc…
- The celebrant will guide the Order of Service
- It is highly recommended that one family member is appointed to liaise with other family members to confirm they are happy with the proposed ceremony prior to the service
